Golf Gti Mk2 Type 19, low milage of 131,000, very early chassis number, last numbers are 545616 it has a factory fitted bbs body kit and zender rear spoiler(spoiler in car not currently fitted). Lots of paperwork and old mot’s. Its a genuine barn find. Conditionwise its solid in the usual places like filler cap, rear wheel wells, rear slam panel, front wiper scuttle and under battery etc are all solid, the rear of sills towards the rear wheels have rotten the floorpans are rusty, might be easier to replace them(floorpans £400). The bodywork has scabs but not bad. The car a restoration project. I have bought it and dont need to sell it, its just a matter of when i get chance to do it and i have several mk2’s already incuding a rallye so i know my golfs. I thought id offer it up for sale to a genuine enthusiast like me that might be looking for one to restore now as its a shame to tuck it away for a few more years.
