The shillings from 1937 to 1951 have two different reverses:

   - English reverse ("E") with lion facing left.

   - Scottish reverse ("S") with lion facing forward.

The shillings from 1953 to 1966 have two different reverses:

   - English reverse ("E") with three lions on the shield.

   - Scottish reverse ("S") with one lion on the shield.

If you are unfamiliar with British coins:  The shilling is about the size of a US quarter.  

Grading: Please review the pictures and judge the condition for yourself. 

Combined Shipping: You will pay only the single highest shipping fee. My shipping fees are $1.25 for items up to $20 and $6.00 for items over $20. Your total shipping should be $1.25 or $6.00. I have attempted to automate this. If you get an unexpected amount, ask for an invoice and I will fix it. You must pay for all lots together to be eligible for combined shipping.

Refund policy: I offer a complete no-questions-asked refund on the full price of the auction. I will not refund return shipping unless the return is due to a mistake on my part.
