For sale is my 2012 Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod 56cm. I’ve owned the bike since September 2024 and it’s been an absolute pleasure to ride, but it simply isn’t getting the use it deserves alongside my other bikes, so I’ve decided it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. The SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod was Cannondale’s flagship race bike and is still regarded by many as one of the finest carbon road frames ever produced. Lightweight, responsive and surprisingly comfortable, it remains an outstanding bike even by modern standards. The bike weighs approximately 6.17kg as pictured without pedals. Even today that’s an impressively light bike and a reminder of why the Hi-Mod earned such a reputation amongst climbers and road racers. Specification: • 2012 Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod carbon frame and fork • SRAM Red groupset • Cannondale Hollowgram SiSL2 chainset • Cannondale SpiderRing 50/34 compact chainrings • 11-26 cassette • FFWD F6R carbon tubular wheelset • Continental Competition tubular tyres • Zipp Service Course SL handlebars • Fizik saddle • Original Cannondale handlebars included The bike is in very good condition and has clearly been looked after throughout its life. It has never been crashed and remains a genuinely tidy example of a SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod. Everything works exactly as it should and it’s ready to ride. The fork steerer has never been cut, leaving plenty of adjustment available for the next owner. Included with the bike are: • New spare Continental tubular tyre • Tubular tyre glue • Original Cannondale owner’s manuals and paperwork • Original bill of sale • Original reflectors • Spare brake pads • Bell and other original accessories supplied with the bike These early Hi-Mod bikes are becoming increasingly difficult to find in original, well-preserved condition, particularly with high-end components such as the SRAM Red groupset, Hollowgram SiSL2 chainset and FFWD carbon wheels. Many have been heavily modified, crashed or broken for parts over the years. This is a genuine superbike from the golden era of lightweight rim-brake road bikes and I believe examples in this sort of condition will only become harder to find. Any inspection is welcome and I’m happy to answer any questions. Collection preferred from Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire, although will ship with full insurance if needed.
