Up for auction is this very tidy Ueda .15 CL / FF, as produced in Japan some 60 odd years ago.
Nothing is bent, broken, or missing with the exception of the original Needle Valve ( original Spraybar included) and it appears to be in excellent used condition. * However the head hold down studs are not original, spoiling what is otherwise a nice example of the marque. I do know that it resided in a large collection for most of its life, and that the studs presumably could be replaced.
All head fins are intact and in excellent used condition, as are the integral cooling fins. The Crankcase is in excellent used condition generally with the exception of some washer marks to the lugs.
Compression is fair although it does bleed off if rolled over slowly. It is not “gummed up” and could be returned to service immediately, however a thorough internal clean would be advisable.
All in all a very honest used example of this front induction .15 from one of Japan’s other model engine manufacturers.
