Up for sale is a rare vintage VHD (Video High Density) release of the iconic 1986 coming-of-age film, Stand By Me, directed by Rob Reiner and starring River Phoenix.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a VHD disc, an obsolete Japanese analog video format from the 1980s. It is NOT a LaserDisc, CED, DVD, or record. You will need a specific, functioning VHD player to play this item. It makes an incredible collector's piece for fans of the film, Stephen King adaptations, and vintage physical media.

Condition:
The outer sleeve has some condition flaws typical of vintage white jackets. There is a distinct, light brown water/damp stain visible along the right edge of the front cover, as well as minor edge wear and light surface foxing on the white border areas. Please inspect the close-up photos carefully.

The translucent white VHD caddy/cartridge is included and is in good physical condition.
