This listing is for a pair of Atari CX42 Remote Control Wireless Joysticks, released in 1983 for the Atari 2600 VCS and compatible Sears Video Arcade systems. Each joystick houses a 9V battery and radio transmitter inside an enlarged base, with a rotating channel dial to help reduce signal interference.
This set includes the two joystick units only. The CX42 receiver/base unit required to connect to a console is NOT included. The joysticks have not been tested — functionality of the radio circuitry and fire buttons is unverified. Sold as-is.
