Makina, the Filipino microbrand that’s been winning design awards all over the world. And you can see why with their Azazel_I bringing this whole brutalist futuristic vibe from the case lines to its rough sandblasted finish. Usually it’s the gray dial hitting the market, this is the lesser seen green dial in a full, basically unworn set, just two months old. If you’re looking for something outside the box that’s lots of watch for relatively little money, this be that.

YEAR: 2026, just 2 months old

DIAL: Great green dial, goes from true green to teal depending on the light. Also has a light sandblasted finish, and maybe one of the coolest sub second dials I’ve seen in a while - a little rotating plate! 

CASE: 40MM rough sandblasted stainless case with really incredible lines throughout. Head on it has a great futuristic look with the matching blasted rotating bezel, and then from the sides you get these flowing curves, just a crazy cool design! Wears very well, photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.

MOVEMENT: Swiss automatic Sellita winding and setting and running very well, exactly as you’d expect being just 2 months old.

STRAP: Matching green meets teal rubber strap, very comfortable, complete with matching blasted stainless pin buckle.
