Today I am offering this fabulous skirt from Burberry London.

It is a slim black pencil skirt that has a top layer of elaborately stitched cotton blend macrame needlework.

The pattern is an intricate dramatic artsy scrolling design reminiscent of paisley.

It was made in Poland of fine materials and is expertly handcrafted.

It has a narrow banded waist with a concealed side zipper and a hook and eye top closure.

It has a scalloped edge hemline and an 8½" rear slit.

The underneath lining layer is black acetate fabric.

The lining is 7" shorter than the top layer so you get a peekaboo effect on the bottom quarter section of the garment.

It's a lovely way to display the skirt's amazing detailed lace pattern.

This high-end designer skirt has a stunning silhouette. It is form fitting and figure flattering.

It is just below the knee on most heights, on shorter statures it might be considered a midi skirt.

It is labeled a US women's size 4, UK size 6, and an EU/IT size 38.

It measures laying flat approximately as follows:

• 13½" from side to side across the top edge of the waistband
• 16½" from side to side across the front at hip level
• 29" from the top opening to the bottom edge down the front center
