Presented for auction is this historic sterling silver souvenir spoon from Grand Canyon, Arizona dating back to years around 1900, (Fred Harvey era) featuring truly exceptionally beautiful design on the handle, front and back of a figural shape of cactus tree (Saguaro Cactus tree like). In the bowl it has embossed very detailed image of canyon scenery, the writing is SCENE FROM BRIGHT ANGEL TRAIL, GRAND CANYON, ARIZONA. It measures 4-1/4" (106 mm), weighs 11.1 grams and is in excellent condition. On the back marked STERLING along with Watson & Newell Co. markings (crown W lion).
