Beautiful, high quality sterling silver spoon from Liverpool England dating back to years around 1900 featuring on the top three dimensional figural liver bird as a mythical creature that is the symbol of the English city of Liverpool, below Latin writing DEUS NOBIS HAEC OTIA FECIT down the handle, translating to “God has provided us this rest” and writing LIVERPOOL in the bowl. On the reverse on the bowl it has embossed intricate shield or coat of arms. It measures 5 inches long (126 mm), weighs 18.7 grams and in excellent condition. On the back marked K&CoLTD and has English sterling silver markings of anchor (for Birmingham), lion (for sterling) and r letter as a date hallmark.
