 This is a 1950's / 60's era Atlas SW-1 "gyromatic swivel" adapter for any microphone boom arm or microphone stand. This desirable adapter allows you to angle your mic or suspend your mic as needed.

 The SW-1 has a wide range of movement giving you any angle you can think of and has adjustable tension so you can set your mic at that angle you need.

 This adapter is made of quality brass and has a polished chrome finish and can be seen in pic # 2 in an older Atlas catalog I have. These SW-1's are getting harder to come by as Atlas hasn't made these in decades and I doubt they will ever make them again.

 As you can see there is heavier physical wear on this adapter. there is some chrome loss and scratches exposing the brass material beneath but it still works perfectly. It's 100% complete and will fit on any stand or boom arm as it has the universal thread size.

 Pics # 1 through 9 shows the actual adapter you are getting. Pics 10 through 18 shows how you can mount the SW-1 on any standard mic stand.

 An awesome accessory for any older or newer microphone stand. Priced right due to physical wear and I do combine shipping if you need any other items at all.
