1966 Red V8 Auto Mustang PROJECT

This 1966 Ford Mustang is a V8 automatic light project, finished in red with a matching red interior. It presents as a strong cosmetic example and needs targeted mechanical work rather than a full restoration.

The exterior paintwork is in very good condition. In our opinion, the red finish should respond well to a proper machine polish rather than needing immediate repainting. The colour also suits the 1966 Mustang body shape and gives the car a clean, period-correct appearance.

The brightwork presents well, with very few visible marks. This matters on a first-generation Mustang, as the bumpers, chrome trim, window surrounds and exterior detailing have a major effect on the overall presentation. In this case, the exterior appears complete, clean and well preserved.
