BC Ocean Picture Stone


This listing is for a rough slab of BC Ocean Picture Stone from British Columbia, Canada. BC Ocean picture stone is made up of blue chalcedony, silicate serpentine, agate, limonite, with dendrites and patterns that create ocean scenes. The ocean-like image each stone creates makes this a favorite for both collectors and lapidary. 

This piece features a natural scene with a semi-translucent white, iceberg blue and pale blue green body that mimics a surf coastal sea. The bottom edge shows a rocky shoreline with tan, dark brown, and charcoal black rocks and a blue  sea. Known flaw - fracture highlighted.  I've shown a photo of the surface dry so you can clearly see the area.  This slab can be used for lapidary to make cabochons.  It can also be polished and used as a display.

Shipping

We ship Monday through Saturday, with daily USPS pickup. All orders go out within one business day, and some orders ship the same day, depending on carrier pickup time.
