This is a vintage Victorian photo with outwardly curved convex bubble glass in a tiger wood frame measuring 25” by 19”. The frame features a brown color with flaws, namely several areas of cracks, dents, fractures, flaking and other defects.

This is the condition in which I received it. Inspection of the glass found no cracks or breaks although it is loose/ not secured totally inside the frame. Handle with caution!

The frame is tiger wood and sadly has many issues as mentioned above. I tried to show all the affected areas I found.

There is a section of framing wire attached to the back.

Not sure the year on this but does seem to be mid to late 1800s.

Hopefully this piece can be restored somehow.
