Vintage Montblanc 252 vintage fountain pen in the rare and desirable colour British Racing Green. 14k nib gives dramatic line variation without pressure (see writing sample), this nib does also have flex allowing for greater line variation with pressure but I wouldn't recommend overdoing this as you can get too much ink out this way. Piston filler working fine. Please note that the MontBlanc emblem/snowflake at the back has some damage (the green circle which is meant to go around the snowflake has come off). Pen has slight micro-scratches visible in direct light.

If you are buying a fountain pen keep the following in mind - Piston fillers will write immediately upon inking because they are dip-filled. Cartridge fillers when first inked may take some time for the ink to reach the feed (if you want to speed this up you can shake the pen a little or dip the nib in cool water after inking).
