These beautiful Sterling silver sugar tongs by Joseph Rodgers & Sons are a very fine example of the Art Nouveau style, crafted in Norfolk Street, Sheffield in 1903.

Made in England 123 years ago, these sugar tongs showcase the elegance and craftsmanship of a bygone era, the chased decoration down the legs is wonderful.
They are straight, no bends, dinks or twists, the bowls show no sign of wear at all.
They are hallmarked; Crown, Lion Passant, l for 1903, J.R for Joseph Rodgers & Sons, & the company's star & cross trade mark
