PZInż. Lux-Sport
Polish Prototype Luxury Car of the 1930s

Issued as part of the Great Encyclopedia of Armaments – September 1939 (Wielki Leksykon Uzbrojenia – Wrzesień 1939) series, this volume examines the remarkable PZInż. Lux-Sport, a prototype luxury automobile developed by Poland's State Engineering Works during the interwar period.

Designed in the second half of the 1930s, the Lux-Sport represented the highest level of Polish automotive engineering before World War II. The vehicle incorporated numerous advanced features, including fully independent suspension, an aerodynamic body and innovative technical solutions that placed it among the most modern European automobiles of its era.

Although only a prototype was completed, the Lux-Sport demonstrated the capabilities of the Polish automotive industry and became one of the most iconic pre-war Polish vehicles. The book presents the vehicle's development, technical characteristics and historical significance, while also examining its connection with military and state institutions.

Richly illustrated with photographs, technical material and archival sources, this volume offers a fascinating insight into one of the most ambitious projects of Poland's interwar motor industry.
