This undergraduate-level textbook discusses various aspects of the generation and transmission of power from solar and wind installations, including issues of intermittent generation, sizing transmission capacity, energy storage and efficiencies,  electrical performance, economic considerations, etc.   Components of a large-scale solar or wind production farm are also discussed.  Although dated (1999), this text still functions as an introduction to the subject and overview of factors to be considered in design.  Fourth printing of the 1999 edition.
