Original intaglio engraving. (13x 8 cm stamped surface). The engraving shows a profile view of the city of Jerez de la Frontera. The engraving comes from the rare work:" Universus terrarum orbis scriptorum calamo delineatus ... qui de Europae, Asiae, Africae, & Americae regnis, provinciis, populis, civitatibus.... Padua: former typographia olim Frambotti, never Jo. Baptistae Conzatti, 1713". It was an illustrated geographical dictionary with maps, views of cities around the world. It was a kind of compilation work that reprinted views and maps by Valegio, Rosaccio, Magini, Porcacchi etc. The work and its engravings are considered very rare.
