The view shows the town of Alhama de Granada that was located on the route that went from Velez Málaga to Granada capital and was very frequented by travelers in the 16th century. XIX. Chapuy made this collection of topographic views made up of 72 plates and which realistically captured images of the main cities and towns of Spain.
