Antique Style Dining Chairs - Set of Four Mahogany Regency Revival Seats Vintage

An antique style reproduction set of four dining chairs with shaped backs, curved front legs and decorative pierced splat detail. A useful and elegant set, ideal for use as dining chairs, occasional chairs, hallway chairs, or for a restoration / reupholstery project.

Constructed from solid hardwood, likely mahogany or similar, with a dark polished finish and upholstered seats. The chairs have a Regency Revival / Georgian Revival style, with curved sabre-style legs, reeded detail and decorative interlaced back splats. Likely mid to late 20th century.

Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition with age and wear throughout. The frames show scratches, scuffs, knocks, chips, rubbing, finish wear and marks, particularly to the legs, edges and backs. The finish feels tacky/sticky in places, possibly from old polish, wax residue or general surface build-up.

The upholstery is worn and tired, with fading, marks and general fabric wear. The chairs remain decorative and usable, but would benefit from reupholstery and some cosmetic attention.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing/restoration depending on preference.
