Meade AUTOSTAR SUITE w/ LPI Lunar Planetary Imager Webcam Camera.
This is NEW, Open Box.
The camera and cables are still sealed.
The software disc is missing, but it was outdated.
Google suggests downloading the software from Meade (see below).
This comes from a pet and smoke-free home.
Where to Download the Original Installation Files: Depending on what specific component you need, you can use these digital archives:
The Full Autostar Suite Program: You can download a complete backup mirror of the original disc installer via the Astro What? Autostar Suite Planetarium Archive. Another reliable option is Software Informer's Autostar Suite Page, which hosts version 5.50 and later editions.
The Telescope Handbox Firmware Updater: If you specifically need to update your computer-guided telescope's controller database rather than run the camera software, you can download the lightweight client application directly from the Software Informer Autostar Updater Hub.
Historic Version Vaults: For older, specific iterations of the software suite (Versions 3.0 through 5.0), you can browse Mike Weasner's Mighty ETX Autostar Archive, a long-running, highly trusted repository within the amateur astronomy community.
Important Compatibility Reminder:
The camera driver included in the standard Autostar Suite installer will only function natively on 32-bit legacy systems like Windows XP or Windows Vista. If you try to run it directly on a modern Windows 10 or 11 system, the computer will usually register the LPI as an unrecognized device. To bypass this issue, veteran users on the Cloudy Nights Forum recommend installing a Windows XP virtual machine onto your modern computer to natively install the downloaded file and drive the camera hardware.
