A professionally designed bass trombone with a modern Bb/F/D valve system and a strong sound. This copy is used, technically fully playable and designed for orchestra, ensemble and studio work.
📜 A bit of background on this model
The YBL-612R was developed by Yamaha Manufactured in the second half of the 1980s to the beginning of the 1990s. The model is closely related to the legendary bass trombonist's studio work Phil Teele and was present in film and soundtrack productions for decades.
The “R” version with Redbrass bell stands for a warmer, denser sound character. The Bb/F/D valve combination corresponds to what is common today professional standard and enables a very logical fingering.
