Original early photographic postcard showing two hunters with rifles posed beside three grizzlies in a Canadian Rockies mountain setting. The image shows the two men seated among evergreen trees with the three grizzlies laid out in front of them. The lower front caption is partly difficult to read, but clearly refers to a hunting scene and three grizzlies.

The reverse is printed: “Made in Canada,” “Along the Line of the Canadian Pacific Railway,” and “Photographed and Copyrighted by Byron Harmon, Banff, Canada.” Byron Harmon was one of the major early photographers of Banff and the Canadian Rockies, producing photographic views of mountain scenery, rail tourism, outdoor life, wildlife, and sporting subjects.
