This is a superb original British Second World War issued detailed map of the Lincoln area of Northern England.

It is exactly the map that would have been issued to military and Home Guard units and was issued just after the Battle of Britain period.

It is marked "Geographical Section, General Staff No. 3907", "Published at the War Office 1940".

It is Ordnance Survey prepared on high quality linen-backed paper in full colour.

Its scale is One inch to the mile which give a wealth of detail.

It is in superb crisp condition for its age – considering it is over 80 years old. It has very minor use marks, and some minor fading. For a detailed condition report please study the photographs carefully.

This is part of my considerable 60-year militaria collection which I am now starting to sell. Please see my other listings. I will combine postage wherever possible.
