Here we have a solid silver thimble with the "James Walker Wishes You Luck" lettering around it.
This type of thimble was given as a gift to engaged couples buying a ring from the James Walker jewellers.
The thimble is hallmarked for Chester 1923 and has the James Walker Ltd maker's mark clearly visible.
The size indicator is 16.
The internal diameter of the thimble at the base is 15mm and it is 22mm high.
The thimble is slightly misshapen around the base as shown in the last photo.
