Here is an 1891 Liberty Head “V” Nickel with sharp About Uncirculated detail and only light wear visible across the highest points of the design.

Liberty’s coronet, hair, facial features, and surrounding stars remain strongly defined. The reverse wreath, lettering, and large Roman numeral “V” also retain plenty of detail. Due to the coin’s surface characteristics, it is being offered conservatively and honestly as AU Details.

The 1891 is a better early date in the Liberty Nickel series, with a mintage of 16,834,350 pieces. It still has nearly all the detail you would want from an AU example and would make an attractive addition to a circulated Liberty Nickel set.
