Can you use this? 

You are looking at a  

5.5x14 CB700 chrome over steel snare drum shell, no parts remain, 

just the badge and grommet,  in good condition. 

A magnet does stick to it. 

Serial number 727380. 

Made in Taiwan. 

I believe this may be the same kind of shell used in PEARL drums. 

Used drum items have some scratches and scuffs, 

Offered for parts or restoration.  

The hole spacing for the lugs is 

(About 2 inches apart are the holes in the snare drum.)

and check the last 3 photos I put up next to a ruler. 

2 inches for the lugs

2+1/4 for the butt

They are 2+5/8 for throw off

 The shell shown is in used condition. 

As with all used vintage items, they may show signs of wear.  

I think it looks pretty good. 

If your snare has rust, scuffs, or extra holes, 

get mine and move your parts over to it. 

If you need this, don’t miss out.  

I won't be using it, maybe you can.

When I got this CB700 snare drum, it had three broken lugs, so I parted the drum out.  I did not have the lugs to fix it. Check my other auctions for other parts from that drum.  I also have the strainer, butt, tone control and a pair of 10 hole rims, and the 7 good snare drum lugs.  Plus the 19 tension rods that were in it.
