This surely is an album for the connoisseur collector.  We have 21 all time favourites from the charts of the 1970s featuring superb cover versions of The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Slade, The Beach Boys, Paul McCartney, The Bee Gees, Creedence Clearwater, Bobby Goldsboro, and not forgetting the ladies - Roberta Flack, Cilla Black and more.

From 1970, we have Reg Dwight now known as Elton John covering The Beach Boys hit of that year - Cotton Fields, then we have a star of the big screen - Dana Gillespie performing her version of Cilla Black's If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind.

On to the mid 70s - and we must confess Reg Dwight wasn't available to re-record for us Candle In the Wind - so we called upon Martin Jay, and a very good rendition it is too!
