Canon EF 500mm f/4.5 L USM Lens
I brought this which was suppose to of been a Canon EF 500mm f/4 L IS USM?
Which after taking all the material tape off it and take photos to resell realising that this is not?
The back bonnet that fixes to the camera is very tight and firm to get off. Nearly like its locked that firm?
The front ring which has the black covered is missing a bit of the Aluminium of ring.
My first taking shots for the afternoon and captured a Shag/Cormorant and timed it taking a shat and thought cool! (picture supplied!)
Then went to the Sandhills where in the distance there was a wedding going on and thought that would test it out?
Shooting down the road on a Warm day and it would not focus, it was beeping to say it was in Focus and shooting, But not?
Thinking it was maybe the heat over the distance, but turns out not? After trying it over the sea in cooler conditions at distance Coastal/Islands?
Shooting on my Canon 5D MII Full Frame.
The Gelatin II drop in presuming UV filter is all very clean. It's that clean in the photo looks like its not even there?
Was "NO HOOD" for front that came with Lens, so NONE Provided!!!
Front Glass & Back is all Good and Clean
So, I will have to sell this as "Parts, Not Working"?

My first 500mm the Canon EF 500mm f/4.5 L USM Lens (which I thought I was upgrading to this?) was great till the auto focus motor started playing up, so people be after parts for these lens!!
Great Lens when was working!!
