 PAGES HAVE AGE RELATED PAPER TONING BUT FAR LESS THAN THE END PAPERS. EXPOSED PAGE EDGES ARE SOILED/DUSTY, DARKENED. 

THERE IS ONE PAIR OF LEAVES (397 & 399) THAT WERE SLOPPILY SEPARATED.  (PHOTO 5)

THERE IS AN UPPER CORNER BUMP THAT AFFECTS 2/3 OF THE BOOK. (PHOTO 4- taken without flash so that you can see the bump)

 I FOUND NO WRITING AND NO INTENTIONAL CREASING. NO TEARS NOTED OTHER THAN THE IMPROPERLY SEPARATED LEAVES MENTIONED. CONDITION IS MORE LIKELY A VERY GOOD MINUS. Generally far nicer than the other 1935 printings you will find. This is the first part of a two part novel that took the author 28 years to complete. The second title was Harvest on the Don and was published in 1960.
