We have been working on the Cerebus 1982 Tour Book for about 4 years with archival material provided by Dave Sim. At this point we don't know if the book will ever be published or what it will look like if it is. Offered here is the early prototype of the big book which clocks in at 224 pages. This book collects Dave Sim's original 1982 tour diary alongside hundreds of photographs and drawings, most of which are published here for the first time. There are also extensive new contributions from Deni Loubert, Bill Sienkiewicz, Maggie Thompson, and Diana Schutz. The Cerebus 1982 Tour Book is a fascinating snapshot of the indie comics scene around Dave and Deni in 1982 and unlike any comics related book ever published. This book is still rough around the edges in terms of the edit and design but collects what we hope to include in the final version, should it actually happen. Right now, there is a good chance that these few copies are all that will ever be printed.
