It is a 1976 1st edition

ISBN number 0-394-83135-7.

It has a number line of

The author & illustrator is Jack Kent.

It is a 61 page, oversized, hardcover children's book published in 1976 in the USA by Random House, NY.

It has a glossy coated full color hardback binding.

There is no dust jacket, it did not originally come with one.

It measures approximately as follows:

• 12¾" from top to bottom
• 9½" from side to side
• ½" thick

It is illustrated throughout with Jack Kent's iconic playful full-color images.

It's in very good condition with a few issues.

•The binding is tight and the cover is clean and intact

•There is surface cracking along the spine creases both front and back

•The corners and edges have some wear

•The interior boards are also illustrated

•There is some childlike writing on the interior front board

•The back interior boards are clean and bright

•Page 9 has a significant green crayon scribble mark

•The remaining pages are in great shape with no writing, coloring, highlights, rips, tears, dog-eared, or missing pages.

All significant issues are well-documented in both this description and as shown in my many photos.

Overall I would consider this to be a great collectible copy of this nearly half-century old children's book.
