Rare and fantastic Vintage 1930s BF Goodrich Black Rubber Galoshes (over booties) with front metal Lightning zippers. Almond toe shape, lower heel. These are hollow and cannot be worn on their own. They must be worn over shoes of a specific shape, size, and heel height.

They are stamped either a 6 or 9? However...the outer toe box width is approx 3 3/8" across and total outer length of 10" from furthest point that heel bump to toe. Galoshes must fit without looseness over an entire shoe--I was able to get a pair of early 1930s shoes that are an OUTER length of around 10 1/4" to 10 1/2" (and that is a shoe with an inner length of 9 3/4", so approximately a 7.5 US shoe size) and with a lower 2 1/2" heel inside them to stretch to fit perfectly over them (galoshes seem like they have more of a 2 3/4" heel). Excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted. A couple of surface marks or imperfections that are intrinsic to the surface of the rubber, but they are not structural, they are from the nature of the material and manufacturing process. Supple rubber, functional lightning zippers.
