Up for sale is a spectacular, true vintage 1970s JCPenney private-label denim pair. This item is confirmed by the iconic, bold "VENDOR 732" factory ink stamp on the raw cotton inner pocket bag and a period-correct brass Talon 42 automatic-locking zipper fly.
This pair features an absolutely incredible, one-of-a-kind "grunge" patina that cannot be replicated. It boasts heavy work staining, grease/rust marks, and highly stylized historical hand-mending and patchwork that perfectly fits the modern "Boro," "Sashiko," and archive streetwear aesthetic.
Condition: Heavy, authentic vintage distressing. Thrashed condition with localized crotch/fly blowouts, fraying, stepping at the bottom cuffs, and heavy aesthetic staining throughout. Structurally wearable with unbelievable historical character. Please review all photos closely for a precise look at the patina.
Important Sizing Note: Due to natural vintage cotton shrinkage over the decades, these now measure out to a perfect 32x28. Please review the flat measurements below to ensure an exact fit.
