A well proportioned and eye appealing figuered writing slope with a central mother of pearl inlaid tablet and the keyhole escutcheon too. The top bordered with a black line of which a sall section is missing on the top right hand side.
The lid above the hasp needs attention an the plate flattening.
The top and front adorned with two inlaid Tunbridgeware type bands incorporating multi coloured inlays is colourful.
The inside with black baize and gilt tooling on the borders.
The underside retains the original baize, a lovely feature.
Condition good apart from areas needing attention.
