WWII U.S. Navy Type B Watertight Surface Pull Box

Original wartime U.S. Navy fire suppression system component.

This heavy brass/bronze watertight surface pull box was used as part of a shipboard fire extinguishing system and is identified as a Type B Watertight Surface Pull Box. The design matches period Navy documentation and is believed to have originated from PT boat-related material.
