Gorgeous shallow wooden bowl / plate hand-turned in unusual African padauk timber - renowned for its striking red colour. Ideal as a gift or decorative item, it would also make a great bowl for small fruit, sweets, pot pourri, etc.
The bowl has a simple, traditional design and has been finished with a cellulose sanding sealer followed by a coat of clear carnauba wax. This gives a wonderfully smooth feel and deep, long-lasting shine. Note that the bowl also features a lighter area of sapwood (wood which was close to the edge of the tree) which adds further interest.
Measurements: diameter: 21.4cm, height: 2.9cm, depth: 1.9cm.
