I have a large collection of cameras obtained over many years. Due to my age and physical condition, I am selling off most of my collection. This is a classic Nikkormat FTN SLR camera.
The camera is in good plus condition showing some age and a few dings. There is also a name and address engraved on the lower part of the back. This was on there when I purchased the camera.
I have not filmed, tested this camera in several years. The shutter fires at all speeds including the self timer. The shutter speed shows up in the bottom of the viewfinder as it should. The Light Meter responds to various light changes and changes in F stop or shutter speed. I am not sure if the Light Meter is accurate cause I do not have the appropriate PX – 13 camera battery. The one I am using is an aftermarket and doesn’t have the exact voltage as the PX-13 which causes the meter to be off by about one F stop.
This is a good solid camera, but I am selling it as is due to the fact I have not film tested it.
For those of you who are not aware there is a Light Meter app downloadable to smart phones to use for photography. It allows you to vary between film, speed, shutter speed, and desired to stop.
