Condition Commensurate with Age
The Oak is in great condition for its age with no splits or cracks
There are some dents on the inside of the lid
The quadruple silverplate is heavily tarnished and could use polishing
The inside of the ice bucket has corrosion and some slight rust
This elegant antique ice bucket was crafted by St. Louis Silver Company, which was in operation from 1904 - 1912. The body is made of dense Flemish oak and ornamented with gorgeous art nouveau style water lilies in quadruple plate silver.
St. Louis Silver Co. Makers mark on the inside bottom of the bucket.
Says: "St. Louis Silver Co." "Quadruple" "PAT Aug 1, 1905"
