Vintage Chinese Good Fortune Ceramic Coin Bank Statues JINTONG & YUNU - Golden Boy & Jade Girl

Very Good Condition of this charming pair of hand painted traditional Chinese figurines of JINTONG (Golden Boy) and YUNU (Jade Girl), two important figures of Chinese legend, whose births were accompanied by many discoveries of riches and treasures, and who later became immortal servants to Kwan Yin.  Made in Taiwan 1993 by Kien Imports.

There is a minor sliver chip on base of Jintong, that's not visible when he's upright (see last photo). Otherwise free of chips, cracks, or paint loss.

Due to glossy paint surface, you will see my photo lights reflected on the surface in these photos - these are not flaws.

Heights are about 8" tall; width and depth are approx. 3.75"; both carry a gold coin, often missing with other figurines.  

There's a slot at the backs of their heads for coins or folded bills. Black rubber plugs at bases.

These collectible 30+ year-old twins are said to bring good fortune, prosperity, luck, and happiness to the whole family all year round.
