Yamaha Tyros Keyboard
The original Yamaha Tyros is a flagship 61-note arranger workstation designed for expressive live performance, home playing and music creation. Its responsive FS keyboard, large display, extensive voice library, sophisticated accompaniment styles and powerful recording facilities made it one of Yamaha's most important professional arranger keyboards.
This used example is in full working order. It does, however, show age-related cosmetic wear and several specific condition points which are detailed accurately below, including a cracked music rest, dull screen contrast, one chipped key underside and a Variation A button that does not illuminate.

Flagship Arranger Performance
Yamaha designed the Tyros as a high-level performance keyboard for musicians who wanted realistic instrument voices and full automatic accompaniment in a portable workstation. Its original MegaVoice technology brought extra articulation to instruments such as guitars, helping accompaniment patterns sound far more natural than conventional arranger keyboards of the period.
The 300 preset styles cover a broad range of musical genres, with multiple intros, endings, fills and four main variations. Four right-hand voice parts can be arranged across the keyboard, and the instrument also provides extensive effect processing, registration memories and programmable One Touch Settings.
Songwriting, Recording & Vocal Features
The Tyros is also a capable composition workstation. Its 16-channel sequencer supports quick, multitrack, step and chord-step recording, while the large display can show song lyrics and compatible music-score data.
Singers can connect a suitable dynamic microphone directly to the keyboard and use built-in Vocal Harmony, compression, EQ and noise-gate processing. Video output allows compatible lyrics or screen information to be displayed externally.
