False Julii Corydoras do best in aquariums of 20 gallons or larger, with a soft sand substrate to protect their sensitive barbels. Diet

Breeding Information

Like many Corydoras, False Julii are egg scatterers. In well-maintained aquariums, spawning can often be encouraged with cooler water changes. Eggs are laid on plants, glass, or other surfaces and can be carefully collected and hatched separately to increase fry survival.
