Exterior: binding is clean, square, and tight. Wear of the extremities. Some moisture damage back cover has caused some faded areas.

Interior: Charming color illustrated endpapers. Gift inscription in ink on the reverse of the frontis illustration. Gutter is partially cracked at this same location. Pages are clean with no tears or other handwriting. Frontis is a b/w illustrated plate. Other b/w illustrations are on the same paper as the text. First 20 pages have soft bottom corner creasing. 154 pages. Three pages of book ads in the back.
