Beautiful frame off restoration of an Olympic Gold w/ black vinyl top numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 / 325 horsepower backed by the matching Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear differential. Factory options include power steering and power brakes (disc front).

This SS 396 has less than 1,400 miles on a 5-year old restoration where every nut, bolt, and screw was either replaced or replated. Most of the body panels appear original showing factory stampings on both rear quarter panels. The 2-stage urethane paint looks amazing and appears to have no chips, cracks, or bubbles anywhere. Body has no rust and is very straight.

The 396 cubic inch V8 was rebuilt to the stock specifications. The only changes were the addition of a Pertronics ignition with coil blaster and an aluminum radiator. The cylinder heads, intake manifold, and Rochester Carburetor are all matching to the car. Stock exhaust manifolds were media blasted and coated to retain their color.

The interior and wiring were totally redone to the factory specs. The only exception is the change to bucket seats with a console shift, instead of the original column shift and bench seat (not included). All the factory gauges function including the AM radio and stock tachometer. Current owner added the AutoMeter tach and aftermarket water temperature, voltmeter, and oil pressure gauges. 

The entire suspension was redone including the stock date coded 3.07:1 12-bolt rear differential with posi-traction. New Coker bias-ply original style 14” white wall tires have been added to the original date coded wheels, including the spare.

No expense was spared, owner selling due to garage space.
