Churchill Centenary Medals 1874 - 1974
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Winston Churchill

A collection of 24 sterling silver medallions Issued by John Pinches in 1974 for the Churchill Centenary Trust.
Each medal is in a clear plastic capsule, and the collection is housed in a gold-blocked maroon leather covered album.
The album pages are interleaved with informative historical notes about each event or medallic theme.

Reverse
The reverse of each medal is similar in having a cameo portrait of Churchill at the top, a wreath of oak leaves, acorns and rope around the perimeter, two flags below and the words "Churchill Centenary Trust" below. In the centre of each medallion is a quotation by Churchill relevant to its subject.

Leaflets
For each medallion, there is a leaflet which concisely relates the story behind the event.
