1960s Danish Jens Quistgaard Kronjyden Relief Bowl, Modern Scandinavian Art Pottery, VGC - EXCELLENT 
A vintage Danish stoneware bowl in the yellowy-brown Relief pattern, designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard and produced by Kronjyden, Denmark. The bowl is marked with a printed Kronjyden mark. An original Quistgaard piece, from the Kronjyden production. Relief design on outside, smooth off-white glaze inside. Slightly tapered form. - see last photo.
Kronjyden A/S Randers Fajance and Stentøjsfabrik was a Danish ceramics company founded in 1937 in Randers. In 1957 Kronjyden initiated a stoneware production in cooperation with the designer Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919-2008) starting with the Flamestone and followed by the Relief series in 1959/1960. This design became very popular through the 1960s in Denmark & abroad. In 1972, Bing & Grondahl took over the company, & they continued to produce the Relief design.

Condition - Excellent condition. Looks little used. No chips, scratches or cracks or issues. Please see all photos to help assess condition fully.
