Condition
The Land Rover is finished in brown with off-white County-specific graphics and roof, over a beige cloth-trimmed interior with full-length fabric headliner. Outside the there are some age-related blemishes, scratches and imperfections that form part of the natural ‘patina’ of the vehicle. It does however look stunning on its original paintwork. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. We’ve had the entire interior out and looked at the floors which are all solid. The Land Rover has had some welding underneath in the past, with the most recent being in 2006 according to the history. The Drive As you would imagine from a car this looked after, it drives really well. It blubs along quite happily, with the power steering and coils all-round making it drive with a refinement it really shouldn’t have! The gears all select as they should and the temperature, battery voltage, fuel level and speedometer all sit happy and work correctly. Service History In many ways, the most impressive and reassuring part of the car. A summary of the content in the MANY folders is below:

Majority of the servicing in the last 20 years has been completed at E.H Douglas - Four Wheel Drive Centre. There are receipts for everything from engine rebuilds to individual nuts and bolts (this is not an exaggeration)
A full ‘engine out’ rebuild was complete in 2020 by E.H Douglas at which point a lot of auxiliary items such as timing chain, thermostat etc were replaced as part of the build
Countless notes and correspondence with the previous owner to various parts suppliers
Fully documented LPG conversion
Car comes with a ‘time warp’, Land Rover 90/110 workshop manual and a 90/110 parts catalogue

Bad bits This is a 40 year old car, so I say bad bits to be as transparent as possible. The car is stunning but original. It isn’t concourse or recently restored. It’s so much better! The roof has a small dent on the driver's side roof (can be seen in the walk-around video). The previous owner had fitted a 'fake safari roof' which we've removed. This unearthed sound-deadening, which is still stuck to the roof.

There is an intermittent knock from the rear suspension, which we suspect is an anti-roll bar drop link. It’s been dry stored for a long time, so while there are signs of corrosion underneath, it’s been kept in check with welding being completed as necessary, which is shown in the history.
