This is a beautifully framed picture of Strongheart, the famous German Shepherd silent movie star dog from the 1920's. It's a color print of the infamous photo by Ehler Dahl that graced the cover of Classic Magazine back in 1923. The print is in its original Art Deco period wood carved frame and contains the original glass (apologies for the glare in some of the photos). The paper backing is original and intact but has a number of rips as shown (see photos for details). The picture measures 11-inches high by 10-inches wide and is absolutely beautiful and ready to hang. This is a rare find and a must-have for any Strongheart or silent film movie memorabilia collector. Don't miss your chance to add this to your collection as it's unlikely you'll ever come across another.
