A vintage/ antique thimble with CH in an oval and 5 in an oval with Dorcas written underneath. It has an almost flat apex/ top and unusual ‘grid’ pattern on the sides and apex/ top. Silver with steel core - I believe this model was made between 1905 and 1948, after which Charles Horner ceased to make Dorcas thimbles. In very good condition – no holes; some needle marks/ scratches to rim but otherwise in very good condition. Please scroll through all the photos as they form part of the description.
